it’s been a long day. 27 hours ago I woke up to drive down from Philly to a gig at the University of Maryland. now i’m on the couch at redstar recording in LA, watching Barrie be an absolute machine behind the mixing console. riding the excitement of being in a new environment and with the help of a bit too much coffee (Justin, fresh pot!!), i have yet to sleep and don’t see it happening anytime soon. we’re working really hard on this record. and its fun.

Blinkin Lincoln
March 16th, 2010farewell to the Blinkin Lincoln. although it wouldn’t surprise me to see it resurface in some capacity in the future, it has closed its doors as of Sunday. working as a sound man at the Blinkin is what turned me on to all of the incredible music going on in Philadelphia. eventually I made my way to the stage. I owe a lot to Russ and the Blinkin family and hope to see it alive again soon. here’s a picture of Avery, me and Maxfield playing a set on the final night…
